Chapter 2　 The Seven Seals already Broken

[17-1] Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who is seated upon many waters,

[17-8] The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and go to perdition ; and the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will marvel to behold the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.

[17-9] This calls for a mind with wisdom : the seven heads are seven hills on which the woman is seated ;

[17-10] they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he comes he must remain only a little while.

[17-11] As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to perdition.

[17-12] And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast.

[17-13] These are of one mind and give over their power and authority to the beast ;

[17-8] The beast that you saw (suggests the dictator with greatest power. [17-9] Here, work your wisdom and decode this suggestion. The seven heads are the seven nations, where the United States of America reigns.

[17-10] They are also the seven summits (hills) of the Leading Industrialized Seven Nations, which are called G7, five nations (Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Canada) of whom already passed the vertex of prosperity, now the United States of America (one) has grasped the hegemony in the world, the other nation has not yet reached the vertex of prosperity, (after the crisis of humankind's fate ends, Japan = the other will have the great influence to the world as the center of new civilization), and when he comes he must remain only a little while. (And soon, the center of new civilization will move to Southeast Asia.)

[17-11] As for the nation in which although the dictator was once and is not now, (is Russia, that is, in the industrially advanced nations,) it is the eighth nation but this nation has participated in the conference (namely, G7) of the Leading Industrialized Seven Nations, and these days, it is called "G7 + alpha," (after the dictator appeared, in the military meaning, this nation should come to be opposed to G7), and at last this nation will result in the downfall.

[17-12] And the ten horns that you saw are ten nations (of the old Soviet Union)who are not yet internationally recognized as the independent states, but after a while, they will start the big military action, together with Russia (and will have international influence) for one hour.

[17-13] They will be setting their mind to one (with ambition on the construction of the mighty Soviet Union or the communistic military power) and (they will form the military alliance of each other, furthermore,) they (will respect the dictator of Russia as their leader and) will give over their power and authority to him.
